From Impermanent to the Permanent

As we all know, our convenient life produces tons of garbage.

Even though the single-use plastic has been a major environmental issue, we still can almost never spend a day without it, but we throw away enormous number of plastic packages from food ingredients to lunch boxes every day. If you pay attention to the details of those containers, indeed they all are well-designed not only for efficiency but also to have a character. What makes us differentiate a permanent and a single-use vessel? Material? Mass-production? That’s to say, if I change it in ceramics, redefining the original forms enhancing its beauty, can a garbage become an art?
